When not chasing my son around, I enjoy crafting (knitting and crocheting in particular, though I have dabbled in nearly everything!); experimenting in my kitchen; gettting lost, and finding my way again, in the woods; acting; a good cup of tea and a wonderful book; watching a BBC programme; Victorian and Baroque aesthetics; and anything high fantasy.
I am very much a do-it-yourselfer, and I love saying "I made that with my own hands". Somehow, things just feel better that way to me. If I can't do it, I'll figure out how!
